Many rice terraces are scattered around the island of Bohol. The ones in Candijay, particularly Barangay Cadapdapan, are said to be the most beautiful. These rice terraces, said to be made by the ancestors of modern day farmers here, are stunning as the ones found in the Cordillera region of the Philippines.
After a 15-minute walk from the rice terraces of Brgy. Cadapdapan, you’ll arrive at Can-Umantad Falls. It is the tallest waterfall of Bohol boasting a height of 60 feet. A part of its rock basin is a small pool of water perfect for swimming.
Along the town of Anda, you can find one of the best beaches in Bohol - Quinale Beach. Its powdery white sand stretches across 3 kms of the Bohol coast. During the low tide, you can play along a wide area of sand ripples in front of the beach.
